Ephesians 4:22-24
To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

I've got this habit I can't seem to break...I want to stop being so negative....I've been wanting to start a weight-loss journey....I've been wanting to change my eating habits...I've been wanting to start this new book....I've been wanting to change the way I discipline...I need to stop yelling so much... I want to find a new career...I've been wanting to finish up my schooling.....I want to organize my home....I want to start a budget......but I just don't have the time.....Is there something that you would like to work on but haven't got to it yet? Take a look at this 9 Steps to Breaking a Habit. This can be used for not only bad habits, but any goal that you may be working towards.
Take a moment to pray before making a plan. Ask the holy spirit to help you and for help to sticking to the plan.
1. Identify WHY you want to change? __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
2. Choose one behavior to stop or change?

3. Commit to the change for a doable period of time.

4. Decide when you'll do it.

5. Plan how you'll track your behavior

6. Ask yourself if there is anything you need to let go of to make this change

7. Make the change

8. Evaluate how it's going. Tweak as needed

Dear Lord,
Thank you for this wonderful day. Lord we are asking today that you would help us break habits and start new and fresh Lord. Help us to walk away from these habits and not return to them. We leave them at your feet, Lord. Thank you for all you do for us Lord, in your name, we pray, AMEN!
